The word “line” comes from the latin root linea meaning linen thread. The word “being” comes from the latin root fui/fio meaning i was, or i become & the greek root phuein meaning bring forth or cause to grow.

The thread of becoming.

This work is an offering to life in all of its forms. The line of being is a path we can choose to walk in each moment. A path that deepens our connection to our senses, our gifts, our communities, our ancestors, the lands, the winds, and the waters. It is a path of harmony.

Line of Being is my soul work. It is the prayer that my grandmother whispered to my mother who whispered it to me. As a practitioner I provide birth, postpartum, and childbirth education support. I squeeze hips, advocate for autonomy, and make warming postpartum meals. But spiritually my work tends to something deeper in all of us. Meeting and engaging people to that which will allow them to grow - a process as unique as we are.

Through this process I seek to interrupt the feedback loops of violence, disassociation, and isolation that have imprinted perinatal care in the united states for many years - especially for people of color. I am grounded in a vision of reproductive health, sexual health, cycle awareness, pleasure, joy, liberation, and justice for all bodies and all people.
